Do you intentionally plan activities that the residents do with students or is their interaction more in a free play opportunity?

Agreed Howard! Knowing what the process makes it more tangible to push for such initiatives, especially at the thinking stages, just getting people to be open to that idea,

I really believe we need to highlight the importance of SEL in educational and curriculum planning, but it often takes a ‘backseat’ to traditional content. Do you have any words of wisdom for advocating for prioritizing these crucial skills for children, esp at younger ages?
